MEN

Murray State's Peyton Purvis (RFr., Paducah, Ky.) & Trey Wall (RSo., Benton, Ky.) shared runner up honors for the Racers at the Grover Page Classic in Memphis at The Links at Audubon Golf Course. They each had a 9-under-par 204 and went low in the second round. Purvis carded a 7-under-par 64 and Wall posted a 65. The Racers finished fourth at the event with a total of 914.

WOMEN
Three women's programs (Belmont, Murray State, Southern Illinois) competed at the Velvet at the par-72, 6,030-yard layout at the Country Club of Paducah this week.  Murray State's Elin Tynan and Belmont's Sloane Biddle were runner-up finishers after losing in a four-way playoff for medalist honors.   Tynan fired a three-round 75-73-73=221, and Biddle was at 75-75-71=221

Two weeks after Caroline McConnell placed third at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational, the senior from South Fayette, Pa., repeated the performance at the Badger Invitational, hosted by Wisconsin in Madison, finishing tied for third. McConnell set multiple career lows during the tournament, beginning with golfing a career-low four-under-par 68 in round one. After firing a three-under-par 69 in round two, McConnell shot an even-par 72 on the final day for a three-round career-low score of 209 (-7). The score is the second-lowest in program history, behind only Grace Aromando's 200 at the 2023 Redbird Invitational, and is only the second sub-210 in Bradley history. Bradley finished fourth as a team with a score of 875 (289-289-297), good for the second-lowest tournament team score in program history.
