2026 MVC Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete Team

Chloe Tarkany of Belmont headlines the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete Team as she has been named the league's Scholar-Athlete of the Year.  A total of 29 student-athletes are on this year's team.  Tarkany holds a 4.0 while pursuing an MBA at Belmont. She had a perfect 4.0 undergraduate cumulative grade point average while majoring in finance.  Tarkany tied for third at the 2026 MVC Women's Golf Championship and also earned All-Tournament Team and All-Conference honors.

To meet the criteria, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.  Redshirt freshmen were not eligible. Nominees must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA, both as an undergraduate and graduate student, where applicable. Eligible nominees must be in the lineup for 50 percent of an institution's team scoring events or in the lineup at the conference championship.
