This week's Missouri Valley Conference golfers of the week include Bradley's Carter Stevenson, Belmont's Sloane Biddle, and Murray State's Chloe Griffith.

Carter Stevenson earned his second top-10 finish in as many weeks, placing seventh at the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by Kansas State, in Manhattan, Kan. The senior from Marquette Heights, Ill., carded a two-over-par 218 after a four-over-par 76 in round one and 71s in the final two rounds. His combined two-under-par over the final 36 holes moved him into the top 10 and earned him his 13th career top-10 finish. As a team, Bradley finished 11th of 15 teams with a score of 908 (307-302-299).

The Belmont women's golf team finished in sixth place at The Velvet Classic held this week at the par-72, 6,030-yard Country Club of Paducah in Paducah, Ky. West Florida and Austin Peay shared the team title at 882. The Bruins were led by junior Sloane Biddle. The Old Hickory, Tenn., native posted a final round 73 to move up to a tie for second place with three other golfers at 219. They finished five back of the medalist, Mariana Arronte of West Florida (214). It was Biddle's fourth runner-up finish and seventh top-two finish of her Belmont career. She's had top-two finishes in seven of her last 12 events. She leads the team with a 73.0 scoring average.

Murray State women's golf finished their second tournament of the fall season with a fourth place finish at The Velvet Classic. Chloe Griffith, a senior from Huntington Beach, Calif., led the Racers with a second-place finish and shooting three-over par. As a team the Racers carded 297+301+299=897 for the tournament.
