WOMEN

Belmont's Sloane Biddle (Old Hickory, Tenn.) led the Bruins at The Judson this week by tying for 15th of 65 golfers with a three-round 75-76-69=220.  The event was contested in Hattiesburg, Miss., on the par-72, 6,183-yard layout on Hattiesburg CC.  It marked her fourth top-15 finish of the season.  Her final round 69 was the lowest by a Bruin this fall and was the second-lowest score of her Belmont career.  Belmont tied for 7th place in the team standings.  Biddle leads the team in scoring with a 73.4 average.

MEN
Evansville's Jamison Ousley (Monticello, Ind.) tied for medalist while leading the Aces to a victory at the Lehigh Invitational over the weekend. After opening the tournament at Saucon Valley Country Club with a 1-over 73, Ousley carded a 3-under 69 in the final round to finish in a three-way tie for the top position. There was not a playoff and the three were named co-champions. Ousley’s win marked the first individual for the UE men since 2017. His efforts helped the team earn its first victory since 2014. Evansville finished the tournament three strokes in front of the field.

Two MVC programs (Bradley, UNI) competed in the Missouri State Intercollegiate in Ozark, Mo.  Carter Stevenson led the Braves for the fourth time in five tournaments this season at Bradley's final Fall tournament. The junior carded a five-under-par 208 (69-69-70) to finish in third place at the Missouri State Intercollegiate at Millwood Golf & Racquet Club in Ozark. The finish is his second this season of fifth or better. The Braves finished second as a team with a score of 858 (291-276-291), one stroke behind tournament-winning Lindenwood. The score is tied for the third-lowest in program history, while their second-round 276 ties the program record for lowest round score, set at the Dolenc Invitational earlier this year.  UNI finished third and was led by a fourth-place individual finish by Calen Bishop (69-69-72=210).  Bishop parred 34-of-54 holes and recorded 12 birdies with five coming in round one and setting a new career tournament best in birdies made.  His fourth-place finish was his first top-5 finish as a Panther.

Notable:  Southern Illinois wrapped up play at the Ka'anapali Classic on Tuesday, posting a solid 25-under-par team total and finishing 8th overall in a loaded field.  The Salukis opened with a 9-under showing Monday, followed by a 9-under Tuesday and finished with a 7-under final round. Leading the way once again was Anthony De Schutter, whose 9-under finish (-2, -4, -3) placed him in a tie for 18th individually.  Freshman teammate Ben Keil posted an 8-under finish (-2, -3, -3) to tie for 25th and provided a strong supporting effort.
