St. Louis - Murray State is crowned as the Missouri Valley Conference regular season champions with a perfect 8-0 record making it the 17th straight year that the MVC regular season champion has gone undefeated. They will head into the upcoming MVC Championship as the No. 1 seed.

Illinois State finished the season beating Missouri State and finishing 7-1 with their only loss coming against Murray State. They finished in the top 5 for the 8th straight season and will head to the MVC Championship as the No. 2 seed.

UIC and Belmont end the season tied with a 5-3 record. UIC has the head-to-head earning them the No. 3 seed over Belmont. Both teams have made the MVC Championship in their first two years playing in the MVC.

The defending champions Drake take the No. 5 seed set for a first round matchup against No. 4 seed Belmont. Missouri State took the final spot in the MVC Championship and will face the No. 3 seed UIC.
