Desiderio had multiple goal involvements in both wins last week, netting a brace against Oakland and recording a goal and an assist versus Southern Indiana. Has now had multiple goal involvements in three matches this season and five for her career, including three career braces.

Boardman played 170 of a possible 180 minutes at right back as Valpo gave up just one goal over two wins last week. Picked up an assist on a goal versus Oakland.

Miller was outstanding in goal this week, recording two shutouts to lead the Salukis to back to back wins. Her latest clean sheet brought her total to five straight shutouts, setting a new program record. Miller has been a key force behind SIU’s five-match winning streak, with the Salukis shutting out every opponent during the streak.

HEADLINES

• Missouri Valley Conference women's soccer teams combined for a 30-34-18 mark against non-conference teams this season.  Conference play begins in earnest this weekend, with all 10 MVC programs playing either Saturday or Sunday.
• Illinois State defender Ava Watson scored the game-winning goal against Eastern Illinois and found the net again versus Western Illinois last week, bringing her scoring streak to three games. She is the first Redbird to score in three-straight games since Riley O’Brien in 2021. Her stout defense mixed with her dynamic offense helped the Redbirds complete their nonconference schedule with just one loss for the first time in program history.
• Drake saw its five-match winning streak snapped last week as they fell on the road against South Dakota, 2-0. The Bulldogs have won all five matches in Des Moines, and Drake has outscored its opponents in home matches 17-0.
• Valpo's Sunday win against Southern Indiana means the Beacons end nonconference play with a 4-4-1 record — the fifth time in the last seven seasons they have finished .500 or better in the nonconference schedule.
• Murray State's Griselda Revolorio leads the MVC in total saves (42 in her nine matches played).
• Belmont's Greta Genie has played every minute of every match for the Bruins, recording two shutouts, including one this past week against Southeast Missouri State. She has a 1.63 goals against average while making 33 saves this season.
• UIC's Sidney Lazenby recorded her second clean sheet of the season on Thursday in the Flames' 2-0 victory, their first of the season. With the Flames' defense holding strong through the entirety of the contest, Lazenby saved the lone shot she faced in the 33rd minute of action. For the season, the sophomore has 16 saves in 56 shots faced. 
• Evansville's Bri Chirpich ranks second in the MVC with 5.75 saves per match (23 saves in her four matches) -- that number ranks in the top 30 nationally.
• Victoria Hassan played a decisive role in SIU’s historic five-match winning streak, contributing to both victories this week. After recording an assist in Thursday’s 1-0 win vs SIUE, Hassan scored the game winning goal in Sunday’s 1-0 victory at UT Martin to secure SIU’s fifth straight win, a program record.
• UNI"s Ella Ubben's penalty kick goal in the 43rd minute was her first of the season and second of her career after scoring against Viterbo in 2025. Ubben's penalty kick goal was Northern Iowa's 23rd in program history and first since Lauren Heinsch in UNI's 2024 win over Murray State, 3-1.
• Hailey Morgan delivered a highly productive week for the Sycamores, totaling two goals, one assist, five shots, and two shots on goal across Indiana State’s road victories at Morehead State and Wright State.
