ST. LOUIS -- The Missouri Valley Conference announced its final baseball weekly honors on Monday.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kristofer Hokenson, Murray State
Sr. | Utility | St. Louis Park, Minn. (Minnesota)
Hokenson powered Murray State’s offense with a monster week that included four home runs and eight RBI while slashing .462/.563/1.385. His breakout moment came Sunday, when he launched three homers and drove in six runs, becoming the first Racer since 2022 to hit three home runs in a game.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Ridge Harvey, Belmont

Harvey delivered a lights-out relief outing in Belmont’s series-clinching win over Indiana State, tossing five scoreless innings while allowing just two hits and striking out six. The freshman right-hander shut down the MVC’s top offense and gave the Bruins complete control over the final five innings.
NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK
Louie Kegerreis, Valparaiso
Jr. | Utility | Murrysville, Pa. (Franklin Regional HS)
Kegerreis closed the regular season on a tear, batting .692 with nine hits, three doubles and three RBIs in Valpo’s series at Southern Illinois. His signature performance came in Saturday’s win, when he went a perfect 6-for-6, tying the national single-game high for hits this season and recording Valpo’s first six-hit game since 2010.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Shane Duke, Belmont

Duke turned in the best start of his freshman season against Indiana State, holding the Sycamores scoreless across five dominant innings. He surrendered just one hit, struck out six and consistently attacked the zone to keep one of the nation’s top offenses off balance all afternoon.
