ST. LOUIS, Mo. – DBU second baseman Jackson Glenn and Indiana State pitcher Geremy Guerrero highlight the 2021 MVC all-conference baseball teams, being tabbed Joe Carter Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year, respectively. DBU's Dan Heefner has been named the league's Dan Callahan Coach of the Year, after leading the Patriots to their third regular-season title in program history and the top seed in this week's MVC Baseball Championship. Glenn is DBU's third Player of the Year, while Guererro is the first Sycamore to be named Pitcher of the Year. Indiana State outfielder Aaron Beck was named Newcomer of the Year and Valpo rookie third baseman Kaleb Hannahs earned Freshman of the Year honors.  Illinois State outfielder Ryan Cermak takes home the Defensive Player of the Year award.
