Michael Creek, Missouri State

Creek is a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American, earning first-team honors in 2019 after collecting third-team honors in 2018.  Last year, he was also a first-team selection to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Team.  Creek is a two-time first-team MVC Scholar-Athlete selection (2018, 2019) and has earned a spot of the MVC's Academic Honor roll three times.  He received the MVC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award in both 2017-18 and 2018-19.

Creek is one of the Missouri State team leaders for MSU's Team Impact kid, Nick Heun, as he's involved with supporting him and incorporating him into the team as much as possible.

 

Murrin action

Anneka Murrin, Loyola

Women's Cross Country, Jr.

Exercise Science, 3.82 GPA

 

Murrin was a member of the MVC Academic Honor Roll and was named MVC Women’s Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2019.  She was also an MVC Scholar-Athlete Team honoree.

The individual champion at the 2019 MVC Women’s Cross Country Championship, she gave Loyola a third consecutive individual champion at the event.  Murrin was named the 2019 MVC Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Year and was a First Team All-MVC runner in 2019.  She placed 52nd at the NCAA Midwest Regional last fall and took third in the mil at the 2020 MVC Indoor Championships.
