Offensive Player of the Week:
Abby Basler, Jr., MF, Illinois State
Basler had a stellar weekend offensively for the Redbirds, combining for three goals and three assists to help Illinois State go 2-0 on the road against two ASUN conference opponents. On Friday, the midfielder posted her second career hat trick while also adding an assist in ISU’s 5-0 win at North Florida. Basler also played a crucial part in the 3-2 comeback victory over Stetson on Sunday, assisting on both the equalizer and the game-winning goal. In all, Basler picked up nine points on the weekend.

Defensive Player of the Week:
Kelsie Stone, Jr., GK, Drake
Stone played 76 minutes of Drake’s 1-0 win over Western Illinois, carrying the majority of the workload in earning the team shutout. Stone also notched eight saves to bring her season total to an impressive 43. She ranks toward the top of the MVC in multiple goalkeeping statistical categories, including shutouts (T-1st); goals against average (2nd); saves, saves per game, and save percentage (3rd).

Newcomer of the Week:
Simone Wark, Gr., Fr., Loyola 
Loyola graduate student Simone Wark helped spearhead the Rambler attack in a pair of wins over Mid-American Conference (MAC) opponents in the state of Michigan over the weekend. On Friday, Wark found the back of the net twice as Loyola cruised to a 4-1 victory over Western Michigan.  The Whitby, Ontario, Canada product went on to provide the vital assist on Lindsey Hardiman's game-winner less than 48 hours later in a 1-0 overtime triumph at Eastern Michigan.  Wark is currently tied for second on the Rambler roster in goals (3) and ranks third in overall points (7).
