ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Valley Conference launched a hashtag initiative -- #TheValleyRunsDeep -- which speaks to the league's deep history and to success stories that continue today.   Founded in 1907, the Valley is the second-oldest Division I athletic conference and in its 117-year history, a total of 37 members (former and present) have help shape that narrative.  

The Valley brand remains very strong, both regionally and nationally, and the great athletic tradition of The Valley remains a compelling force in recruiting student-athletes and in marketing all the MVC programs.
