Missouri State claimed the 2012 State Farm MVC Women's Indoor Track & Field title, while Southern Illinois took the Men's.

Pentathlon

60m Hurdles

Olimpia Nowak of UNI finished first  in the 60m Hurdles with a time of 8.35. Malaikah Love of SIU finished 2nd at 8.62 and Paige Knodle of UNI came in third at 8.73.

Wichita State claimed the top 2 finishes as Aaron Young finished first at 7.00 and Austin Bahner was right behind at 7.01. Steven Swinford of Indiana State finished 3rd at 7.03.

Pentathlon

Olimpia Nowak of UNI took the women's high jump portion of the Pentathlon with a jump of 1.69m. Briana Isom Brummer and Tanya Friesen tied for second-place (1.66m).

Wichita State's Austin Bahner came in first in the men's long jump (7.14m) followed by Robert Webb of Indiana State (7.07m) and Daniel Gooris of Northern Iowa (6.83m).

Northern Iowa had the top two finishers with Daniel Gooris coming in at first (14.08m) and Ben Lindaman 2nd (13.74m). Wichita State's Tobias Boese was third (12.70m)

Malaikah Love took top honors in the shot put with a throw of 13.79m. Second place went to Olimpia Nowak (12.15m) and third place went to Chinwe Ekweariri (11.69m)

Mac Griffith of Wichita State, Daniel Gooris of Northern Iowa and Robert Webb of Indiana State all finished with jumps of 1.99m and 794 points.

Women's Weight Throw

Results

Jeneva McCall won the Women's weight throw with her heave of 76-09.00 earning 10 points for Southern Illinois.  Illinois State junior, Brittany Smith, took second-place (69-04) and Felisha Johnson of Indiana State in third-place (68-10.50).

Malaikah Love finished in first place with a jump of 6.13m.  Olimpia Nowak of Northern Iowa (5.56m) and Tanya Friesen of Wichita State (5.55m) came in second and third, respectively.

Northern Iowa took the two top spots as Paige Knodel finished first with her time of 2:18.65 and Olimpia Nowak finished behind her in 2:22.68.  Malaikah Love of Southern Illinois came in third (2.24.40).

Men's Pole Vault 
Results
Senior Cody Doerflein from Southern Illinois claimed gold in the Men's Pole Vault clearing 17-04.50.  Northern Iowa teammates Daniel Gooris (17-04.50) and Corey Szamlewski (16-08.75) came in second and third-place, respectively.

Southern Illinois' J.C. Lambert took first-place with his throw of 70-09.25 followed by Indiana State's Brandon Pounds who came in second (68-09).  Akil Mills (ILS) came in third-place after he tossed 67-04.75).

Women's 3000m - Final Results Aliphine Tuliamuk from Wichita State claimed the gold after crossing the finish line in 9:38.24.  Aisha Praught from Illinois State came in second-place with her time of 9:46.05 and Elise Sigg took third-place (9:56.15).

Results

Wichita State's Tomas Cotter took first-place after finishing in 8:34.32 with Jeremiah Vaughan of Indiana State right behind him in 8:34.86.  In third-place was Brogan Austin from Drake in 8:35.05. 
Men's Long Jump Results  The sophomore from Indiana State, Maurice Lyke, came in first-place in the men's long jump after he leaped 7.36.  Dan Karys from Drake claimed second (7.26m) and Douglas Palacious from Southern Illinois took third (7.16m).
Women's Long Jump Results  Kimsue Grant from Missouri State won the women's long jump with her leap of 6.07m.  Audacia Moore of Wichita State was a close second-place with her 5.99m performance and Malaikah Love from Southern Illinois in third (5.96m).

Women's DMR  Results Illinois State won the DMR with the team of Ashley Kamin, Jordan Frey, Jilana Kerkman and Kristen Zillmer with their time of 11:49.46.  Indiana State came in second place (11:53.82) and Bradley in third (11:55.57).

Southern Illinois won the men's distance medley relay with their time of 10:04.18.  Northern Iowa came in second-place and Drake in third with their times of 10:07.58 and 10:17.56, respectively.

Results

Aaron Young of Wichita State came in first with his time of 8.41, followed by Robert Webb of Indiana State (8.44) and Daniel Gooris of Northern Iowa (8.51).

Northern Iowa's Daniel Gooris took first-place with his vault of 5.10m.  Steven Swinford of Indiana State came in second (4.90m) and Southern Illinois' Ryan Sidwell (4.80m).
