Beginning on Wednesday, May 27, a total of 49 student-athletes from six Missouri Valley Conference institutions will compete in the first round of the 2026 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
 
The meets will be held in two locations for the east and west regions. The NCAA East first round will be located in Lexington, Kentucky, with the University of Kentucky serving as the host school, with representatives from Indiana State and Murray State in attendance. The NCAA West first round will be located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with the University of Arkansas serving as the host school, featuring student-athletes from Bradley, Drake, Illinois State, Northern Iowa and Southern Illinois.
