ST. LOUIS – The Miami men and Indiana State women have been picked to win the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference championship crowns in a poll of the league’s head coaches.
 
The RedHawks were unanimously selected as the pre-championship favorite, garnering all eight first-place votes and 64 total points. Just two points separated Southern Illinois (53 points) and Missouri State (51 points).
 
On the women’s side, Indiana State collected six first-place votes and 75 total points. The Salukis were picked to finish second with 74 points and a trio of first-place votes. Missouri State (61 points) and UIC (57) finished closely behind in the voting.
 
The 2026 MVC Swimming & Diving Championships will be held at Deaconess Aquatic Center in Evansville, Indiana, February 25-28. A full schedule of events, ticket information and merchandise can be found on Championship Central.
