MVC Announces Wildcard Telecast Selections for Men's Basketball (March 1)

The Missouri Valley Conference has announced "wildcard" telecast selections for men's basketball games of Sunday, March 1.

ESPN has selected the Murray State at Bradley men’s basketball game on Sunday, March 1, for distribution on ESPN2. The game will tip at 1 p.m. CT.  Clay Matvick (PBP) and Kevin Lehman (Analyst) will serve as the announcers. 

CBS Sports has selected the Belmont at Illinois State men’s basketball game on Sunday, March 1, for distribution on CBS Sports Network. Jack Gordon (PBP) and Noah Buono (Analyst) will call the game from Normal, Ill., and it will tip at 4 p.m. CT. 

Network and game times were previously listed as TBA on the MVC schedule. Times and networks for the March 1 "Wildcard" dates are below:

Sunday, March 1
UIC at Indiana State (ESPN+), 12 p.m. CT
Murray State at Bradley (ESPN2), 1 p.m. CT
UNI at Drake (ESPN+), 2 p.m. CT
Southern Illinois at Evansville (ESPN+), 3 p.m. CT
Belmont at Illinois State (CBS Sports Network), 4 p.m. CT

During the 2025-26 season, using the wildcard model, the Missouri Valley Conference -- in conjunction with its television partners -- have reserved clearance windows for select dates throughout the season and wait until two weeks before the contest(s) to determine network clearances.
