The Missouri Valley Conference will distribute a men’s and women’s basketball telecast package on Gray Media-owned and non-Gray syndicated over-the-air stations in 2026-27. The Missouri Valley Conference has worked in conjunction with Gray Media to clear the package. Gray Media affiliate stations located within the Conference’s six-state footprint of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, and Tennessee will air MVC games on the package. The Valley on ESPN will also distribute the productions nationally on ESPN+.

The league will also produce three regular-season women’s basketball games, marking the fourth-straight year the league has produced and distributed multiple league contests on either regional cable or over-the-air television platforms.
The 2027 State Farm MVC Basketball Championship -- the league’s 37th-consecutive event in St. Louis – on Wednesday-Sunday, March 3-7, will be the first-ever combined men’s and women’s basketball tournament in the league’s 120-year history.
The event will feature 14 contests – four opening-round, two quarterfinal and two semifinal contests for the women and four opening-round and two quarterfinal games for the men -- being shown on Gray Media-owned and non-Gray syndicated over-the-air stations, and it will mark the first time in Conference history that all games from the women’s basketball championship will be televised on a linear platform.
