MVC Cross Country Weekly Honors (Oct. 5)

Bradley's Jayde Rosslee and Noelle Steines have been tabbed the MVC Cross Country Athletes of the Week. 

MEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Jayde Rosslee -- Senior -- Alberton, Johannesburg, South Africa

Jayde Rosslee placed third in a highly competitive field at the Joe Piane Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame in South Bend. Rosslee battled at the front of the pack against multiple Notre Dame athletes and finished with a time of 23:01.2. The mark lowered his program record and personal best by 24 seconds and moved him within two seconds of a sub-23:00 8K. Rosslee led the Braves to a second-place finish out of 18 scoring teams overall, only placing behind the nation's 15th-ranked Men's Cross Country program, Notre Dame.

WOMEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Noelle Steines -- Sophomore -- Tipton, Iowa

Noelle Steines was Bradley's top finisher for the third time in as many meets this season at the Joe Piane Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame in South Bend. The sophomore from Tipton, Iowa, placed 19th with a time of 16:23.5, setting a new 5K program record. Her time bested the old record, set in 2022 by Nicola Jansen, by seven seconds and was a new personal best by 40 seconds. Steines led the Braves to a seventh-place finish out of 20 scoring teams in a field that included #1 NC State, #7 Notre Dame, #12 South Carolina and #27 Clemson.
