ST. LOUIS - Southern Illinois has been tabbed as the favorites to win the 2025 Missouri Valley Conference Women’s Swimming & Diving Championship by the league’s head coaches in this year’s pre-championship poll.

Southern Illinois finished with four first-place votes and 75 points while Indiana State followed right behind with three first-place votes and 72 total points. Only three points separated the Sycamores from Missouri State, who collected 69 points in the poll and two first-place votes.

Little Rock received 45 points to earn fourth place. Only three votes separate UNI (43) and UIC (40), while Illinois State (33), Evansville (18), and Valparaiso (10) round out this year’s pre-championship poll.
