Cross Country Runners Of The Week (Oct. 20)

ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Valley Conference announced its Runners of the Week on Monday. Bradley's JD Rosslee and Kaitlyn Sheppard have been selected as the men’s and women’s honorees.

MEN’S RUNNER: JD Rosslee, Jr. Bradley – Alberton, Johannesburg, South Africa 
JD Rosslee finished runner-up at the Bradley Pink Classic for the second consecutive year, clocking a time of 23:43.78 in the men's 8k Red Race at Newman Golf Course in Peoria. The South African set a new program record for the fastest 8k Pink Classic time in program history, surpassing his own 2024 Pink Classic time of 23:46.08. Rosslee's time also ranks 25th-best in the Midwest Region this season. Bradley finished first out of 21 teams, securing the men's first Pink Classic title since 2018 and third overall.

WOMEN’S RUNNER: Kaitlyn Sheppard, Sr. Bradley – Cheltenham, England
Kaitlyn Sheppard led the Braves for the fourth time in four meets, finishing second with a time of 20:27.86 in the women's 6k Red Race at the Bradley Pink Classic at Newman Golf Course in Peoria. The time is the third-fastest by a Brave in program history in the 6k race and is the 27th-fastest in the Midwest this season. Bradley finished first out of 24 teams, securing the women's first Pink Classic title since 2019 and second overall.
