No. 3 Creighton prevailed and was named the 2007 State Farm MVC Women's Soccer Champion after penalty shots determined who would advance to the NCAA Tournament.  It was a 4-3 edge for the Bluejays over No. 1 Illinois State Sunday afternoon in Evansville, Ind. After a 1-1 draw through regulation and two overtime periods, the Bluejays earned their fourth NCAA berth in six years.  Creighton won the tournament final in 2002, 2004, 2005 an 2007.
