The Missouri Valley Conference has announced the dates, sites and hosts for its 2026-27 championship season, featuring Conference championships across the academic year and culminating with the 2027 MVC Baseball Championship in Chicago.
The championship calendar begins on Friday, October 30, with the MVC Cross Country Championship at A.H. Blank Golf Course in Des Moines, Iowa, hosted by Drake. Fall championship competition continues through November with the MVC Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer and Volleyball championships, with the highest seed hosting each round.
Winter and spring championships will take student-athletes to championship venues throughout the MVC footprint, including Evansville, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Silvis (Ill.), Cape Girardeau (Mo.), Normal, Nashville, Des Moines and Chicago.

The 2027 basketball championships will highlight the winter championship schedule at St. Louis' Enterprise Center from March 3-7. For the first time, the MVC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships will be held together during the same week under an expanded Arch Madness format. Both tournaments will feature 10 teams, with the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds advancing directly to the semifinals.
The basketball tournament schedule begins Wednesday, March 3, with four women's opening-round games, followed by four men's opening-round games Thursday. The second rounds will be held on Friday, semifinals Saturday and championship games Sunday, March 7.
The spring championship slate will conclude with baseball, as UIC hosts the 2027 MVC Baseball Championship at Curtis Granderson Stadium in Chicago from May 26-29. The event will mark the first MVC baseball championship hosted by UIC at the Chicago venue.
With championship events spanning the academic year and multiple states across the Missouri Valley Conference footprint, the 2026-27 schedule will provide student-athletes, coaches, alumni and fans numerous opportunities to experience MVC championship competition throughout the year.
