Creighton University will serve as host for the 2011 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Baseball Championship for the third time in school history, from May 24-28. The 2011 event will be played at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, which will also serve as host of the Men's College World Series after a 61-year run at Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium. The 2011 CWS will be played June 18-29.
Once again, the 2011 Missouri Valley Conference Baseball Championship will welcome all eight league members to compete for the Valley's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. The format will divide the eight teams into two pods based on regular-season finish (Seeds 1, 4, 5 and 8; Seeds 2, 3, 6 and 7). Each four-team bracket will be a double-elimination format, with the winners squaring off in a one-game championship on Saturday afternoon.
Games are played at 9:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. each of the first three days, two "if necessary" games at 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday, with the championship game airing on Fox Sports Midwest at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Tournament Schedule and Results |
| The 2011 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Baseball Tournament will consist of all eight conference teams split into two, four-team brackets. Each four-team bracket will be double-elimination with the two winners meeting in a single-elimination championship game. Teams are assigned brackets based on seed, which is determined by the order of finish in the regular-season conference play. One bracket will consist of seeds 1, 4, 5 and 8, while the other bracket will consist of seeds 2, 3, 6 and 7. |
