Mason Glick enters his fifth year at the MVC as Assistant Commissioner for Marketing and Television.
At the MVC, Glick oversees marketing for the Conference and 17 championship events, including promotional campaigns, development of creative (radio, television, print, online and social media advertising) and administration of budgets for each event. He manages all outer market in-kind trade contracts and provides assistance in managing league costs through the execution of media barter agreements for MVC Championships in the locale of the competition.
In addition, Glick supports the coordination of league linear and digital production scheduling, logistics, production and communication for the MVC TV Network. He also manages staff involvement with MVC Sports Properties -- the media rights-holding agency for the Conference -- in all media and sponsorship sales and in the delivery of sponsor fulfillment and administration point-of-sale and other retail promotions as part of advertising delivery to sponsors.
In a marketing leadership role for the league office, Glick manages and implements league-wide initiatives and creative developed to support the ten member institutions and its marketing directors.
In a partnership with From Now On, Glick developed the first-ever mobile app to promote the league’s men’s and women’s basketball tournaments and support fans attending Arch Madness and Hoops in the Heartland.
He was the marketing coordinator/liaison for the 2019 NCAA Men’s Basketball Regional in Kansas City and 2020 NCAA Men’s Basketball First and Second Rounds in St. Louis.
A native of Flora, Ill., Glick received a bachelor’s degree in business administration/marketing from Slippery Rock University in 2005 and a master’s degree in Sport Management from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2010. He is an active member in NACMA and an alumni of the Sports Management Institute Executive Program. Mason and his wife Niki have a daughter Macy and son Grant and live in Edwardsville, Ill.
