Rice enters her third year with The Valley in 2026–27, overseeing the league's business affairs, special events, and office operations while providing executive support to the Commissioner. She also serves as the sport administrator for women's soccer. Prior to joining the conference office, Rice spent three years at MVC member Belmont University, where she served as Assistant Director of Administration.
Rice oversaw the Belmont student-worker program, managed distribution of student-athlete learning resources, provided administrative support, and coordinated special events. She also functioned as the department's liaison to Human Resources, coordinating the hiring process for all new athletic department coaches/staff members, job description updates, job training, professional development, and performance evaluations. Additionally, she oversaw Belmont's graduate assistant and internship programs.
Rice arrived at Belmont after serving two years as a business operations associate for Western Kentucky University Athletics. Rice contributed to the financial operations of the WKU athletic department, assisting with budgeting, purchases, and travel expenses. The Louisville, Ky., native also was an intern with Learfield/IMG College at WKU, and she worked as a student manager with the WKU women’s basketball team all four years of her undergraduate studies. Rice earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management and her master’s degree in recreation and sport administration.
