Jill Redmond joined the Missouri Valley Conference in August 2023 and is involved with all organizational and operational aspects of the conference and assists with overall administration and management of conference matters pertaining to membership services, governance, business operations, leadership and facilitation. In this role, she will work directly with the league’s Board of Directors and Council of Athletic Directors.
Prior to the Valley, Redmond spent over 13 years at the Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10). She joined the A-10 staff in 2009 as Director of Compliance and earned several promotions during her tenure, including her last promotion to Executive Senior Associate Commissioner in 2021. In that role, she led the league's DEI efforts by overseeing the A-10 Commission on Racial Equity, Diversity and Inclusion which was formed in August of 2020. Redmond also worked directly with the Commissioner and the Presidents' Council in all areas of governance and policy development, membership initiatives and special projects, like the league’s celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Title IX.
At the national level, Redmond currently serves on the NCAA Division I Committee on Infractions and previously served on the Division I Nominating Committee, the Division I Administration Cabinet, the Awards, Benefits, Expenses and Financial Aid Cabinet and the Division I Amateurism Fact-Finding committee. She received national recognition with the 2017 Nell Jackson Administrator of the Year award by Women Leaders in College Sports, and as a Sports Business Journal Game Changer in 2022. In May 2025, Redmond was appointed to serve on the the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Committee.
Redmond, who also has worked at the University of Richmond, Dartmouth College and Benedictine University, completed her undergraduate degree at DePaul University, where she was a track and field student-athlete, and earned her MBA from Benedictine University.
