  • As a team, Belmont ranks first in The Valley in points per match (5.33) and scoring offense, averaging two goals per outing. The Bruins are one of two teams in the league with at least five different goal scorers this season. 
  • Despite holding advantages in shot attempts, shots on goal and corner kicks Monday night, Bowling Green was edged by Wake Forest, 1-0. All Falcon starters had at least one shot attempt on the night, while Enzo Gil made four stops in the goal. 
  • Bradley goalkeeper Marçal Salom Chandre ranks 10th in Division I with 18 saves this season. The senior has played all 360 possible minutes this season for the Braves, and ranks second in the league with 4.50 saves per match. 
  • After picking up a pair of 2-0 victories last week, Drake is the last unbeaten team in the league with a 2-0-2 ledger. The Bulldogs are one of just 57 unbeaten teams remaining in Division I. 
  • Evansville plays its third-straight match against a Power 4 opponent this week, as it faces Kentucky on Friday. The Purple Aces are facing the reigning Sun Belt champions for the first time in the regular season since 2016. 
  • UIC’s Sebastian Khoury leads the Flames with 13 total shots with eight on target. The junior currently ranks second in The Valley in shots and shots per match this season, while he tallied a career-best six shots, four on goal, against Northern Illinois on Sunday
  • Western Michigan’s Alex Lindewirth is picking up where he left off last season, leading the MVC this year in save percentage (0.762) with a league-best 5.33 saves per match. The redshirt senior is second in The Valley with 16 stops on the year.
  • A pair of MVC coaches are closing in on 150 career victories at the Division I level. UIC’s Sean Phillips is just three wins shy of the milestone, while Western Michigan’s Chad Wiseman needs seven victories.
