- The day after announcing his return, Bowling Green’s Trace Terry lifted the Falcons to a season-opening win over Wright State with a pair of goals. With his performance, Terry became just the sixth Falcon to ever reach 30 career goals, currently ranking fifth in program history.
- Bradley welcomed 15 newcomers ahead of the 2026 season. Of that group, eight of them made their Division I debut during opening weekend, including six underclassmen. For the first time since 2018, two Braves were recognized in the same week with MVC weekly honors.
- Evan Carlson helped Drake open its season with a pair of 1-1 draws against Central Arkansas and Creighton, notching a goal in each outing. With his two goals over the weekend, the grad student is already just one shy of tying his single-season career high.
