The 2026 MVC All-Conference Tennis Teams were announced on Thursday.
The postseason awards are comprised of a first and second team from each of the six singles’ positions and one doubles team from each of the three positions, as voted by the league coaches.
Drake's Maja Dodik and Murray State’s Valeria Chaikovskaia earned MVC Co-Player of the Year honors. Dodik went 6-1 overall in MVC singles play, while Chaikovskaia also posted a 6-1 record in league play at the No. 1 position. Dodik was also named the MVC Newcomer of the Year.
Illinois State’s Vittoria Benedetti earned Freshman of the Year honors after a dominant
rookie season, posting a 6-1 record in MVC singles play.
UIC’s Elizabeth Lumpkin Robinson earned the 2026 MVC Women’s Tennis Coach of the Year honor after leading the Flames to a 14-6 overall record and a perfect 7-0 mark in MVC play to secure the regular season title.
The 2026 All-Conference First Team is comprised of individuals from Drake, Murray State, Bradley, Illinois State, Belmont, and Valparaiso. Drake claimed two singles spots on the all-conference team as well one doubles pairing. Murray State earned two singles spots as well one doubles pairing. Illinois State earned two singles spots along with a doubles spot. Bradley also grabbed a singles award, while Belmont and Valparaiso each claimed a doubles position. The All-MVC Second Team has a student-athlete each from Illinois State, UIC, and Valparaiso.
