MVC Tennis Weekly Honors (Apr. 14)
ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Valley Conference announced the women’s tennis weekly honors on Tuesday. Maja Dodik of Drake was named Singles Player of the Week, Maja Dodik and Jordane Dookie of Drake were named Doubles Team of the Week.

Singles Player of the Week
Maja Dodik, GS., (Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina) - Drake

Maja Dodik put together another undefeated weekend, her third in the last three weeks, as Drake split its final home matches of the 2026 season. Dodik defeated Illinois State’s No. 1 player, Lana Caculovic by a 6-0, 6-4 margin before ousting Bradley’s top Brave, Valeriia Ivanovskaia in a 6-0, 6-3 result. She also chipped in for a pair of doubles wins.

Drake’s best doubles team of Maja Dodik and Jordane Dookie had another stellar weekend as the Dogs split their final two home matches of the season. Dodik and Dookie beat an undefeated doubles foe as Drake hosted Illinois State and Bradley. The weekend began with a 6-1 difference over the Redbirds’ Lana Caculovic and Silvia Pomarolli before downing the Braves’ top tandem of Valeriia Ivanovskaia and Chia-En Hsieh by a 6-2 tally.
