Turning Point
All nine Evansville players scored in the second half, with six different Aces scoring in the last five minutes as Evansville snapped a seven-game MVC Tournament winning streak with a 76-71 win over UIC in Opening Round play at Coralville, Iowa.
Camryn Runner led the Aces with 16 points and the Aces converted 9-11 free throws down the stretch.

- Three ‘Em Up … Elle Snyder, Sydney Huber and Camryn Runner hit consecutive three-pointers for Evansville early in the third quarter as the Aces stretched their lead to 49-42 with 4:37 remaining in the third quarter. UE made seven of its first nine 3-pointers in the game.
- Different Huber … Sydney Huber was a combined 3-18 (2-14 on three-pointers) shooting in UE’s two regular-season games vs. UIC, but hit 4-6, including 3-4 from the arc)
- Georgia off the Bench … Georgia Ferguson gave UE a big bench boost with 10 points in her first 15 minutes on the court.
- Aces Pull Away … UIC tied the game at 62-62 with 3:54 left, but the Aces finished with a 14-9 edge keyed by back-to-back layups by Breaunna Ward (her only baskets of the game) to finish the game.

- Julia Doubles Up … With her ninth double-double of the season, Julia Coleman finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Coleman had seven of her points in the fourth quarter.
