MVC Announces Wildcard Telecast Selections for Men's Basketball

The Missouri Valley Conference has announced "wildcard" telecast selections for men's basketball games of Wednesday, Feb. 18, and Saturday, Feb. 21.

ESPN has selected the Murray State at Illinois State men’s basketball game on Wednesday, Feb. 18, for distribution on ESPNU. The game will air at 8 p.m. CT. Clay Matvick (PBP) and Kevin Lehman (Analyst) will serve as the announcers. And Gray Media has selected the Bradley at Valparaiso men’s basketball game on Wednesday, Feb. 18, for distribution on Gray Media affiliate and non-affiliate stations. The MVC TV Network game is set for 6 p.m. CT. Scott Warmann (PBP) and Adam Emmenecker (Analyst) will are the on-air personalities for that contest.

ESPN has also made its wildcard pick for Saturday, Feb. 21. ESPN has selected the Illinois State at Bradley men’s basketball game on Saturday, Feb. 21, for distribution on ESPN2. Tip time is set for 7 p.m. CT. Clay Matvick (PBP) and Kevin Lehman (Analyst) will serve as the announcers from Peoria, Ill.

Network and game times were previously listed as TBA on the MVC schedule. Times and networks for the Feb. 18 and Feb. 21 "Wildcard" dates are below:

During the 2025-26 season, using the wildcard model, the Missouri Valley Conference -- in conjunction with its television partners -- have reserved clearance windows for select dates throughout the season and wait until two weeks before the contest(s) to determine network clearances.
