MVC Announces Wildcard Telecast Selections for Men's Basketball

The Missouri Valley Conference has announced "Wildcard" telecast selections for men's basketball games of Sunday, Jan. 4

ESPN has selected the Bradley at Murray State men’s basketball game on Sunday, Jan. 4, for distribution on ESPN2. The game will tip at 4 p.m. CT.  Clay Matvick (PBP) and Kevin Lehman (Analyst) will serve as the announcers.

Bradley enters the Christmas break with a 9-4 mark and perfect 2-0 MVC record.  Bradley, winners of six-straight games, is led by Jaquan Johnson, who headlines three double-figure scorers with his 18.5 average.  Alex Huibregtse (12.4) and Demarion Burch (10.3) also are in double figures for Brian Wardle's Braves. Johnson is the national leader in steals per game (3.62). Murray State also has a six-game winning streak and is 10-3 overall and 2-0 in league play. The Racer winning streak is its longest since 2022.  MSU's Javon Jackson leads Murray State in scoring at 16.2 points per game while Fred King (13.0) and Roman Domon (12.5) also are in double figures.  Murray State leads the league in scoring and ranks 26th nationally at 89.3 points per game.  The Racers rank 16th in the NCAA in bench scoring with 36.4 points per game coming from its bench this year.

During the 2025-26 season, using the Wildcard model, the Missouri Valley Conference -- in conjunction with its television partners -- have reserved clearance windows for select dates throughout the season and wait until two weeks before the contest(s) to determine network clearances.
