CORALVILLE, Iowa — The Missouri Valley Conference and the Iowa City Area Sports Commission announced today that tickets for the 2026 Credit Union 1 MVC Women’s Basketball Tournament at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa, will go on sale this Friday, December 19. The tournament is set for March 12–15, 2026.
The annual championship will feature all 11 MVC women’s basketball programs competing for The Valley’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The 2026 tournament marks the 40th MVC Women’s Basketball Tournament and the first time it will be hosted in Coralville.
Tickets will be available beginning at 10:00 a.m. CT on December 19 at
xtreamarena.com or in person at the Fareway Box Office, open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Early-bird reserved all-session tickets are priced at $50 through January 19 and will increase to $70 on January 20. General admission all-session tickets are also available for $50. Single-session and single-game tickets will go on sale February 1.

“It has been great working with the MVC staff in preparation for the championship, seeing their attention to detail and passion for showcasing MVC student-athletes,” Eustice added. “This will be the first visit to our community for many of the coaches, student-athletes, and fans, and no matter how their team performs, we want them to leave saying they can’t wait to come back to Xtream Arena.”
The MVC title game will tip off at 1:00 p.m. CT on Sunday, March 15, and will air nationally on ESPN2, marking the fifth-consecutive year the championship has been televised on an ESPN linear platform (ESPNU in 2022 and 2023; ESPN2 in 2024 and 2025). The first nine tournament games will stream exclusively on ESPN+ via the ESPN App.
