- UIC blanked league-leading Drake (1-0) despite being outshot 18-7 in the match. Sara Sanabria and Francesca Faraci split time in the nets, and each recorded five saves against the Bulldogs.
- On Saturday, Evansville scored a dramatic win against Belmont as Brooklyn Robinson notched the match-winner in the 82nd minute in a 2-1 result.
- Illinois State beat UNI, 1-0, and in doing so recorded its ninth shutout of the season, the most for the Redbirds since 2019. Madi Valenti added her 13th career shutout and now sits tied with Sasha Reiber (2008-09) for fifth all-time in program history.
- Murray State’s Griselda Revolorio made eight saves to secure her fourth shutout of the season and the team’s sixth overall as the Racers beat SIU, 1-0. The clean sheet was also the second in as many matches.
- Three different Drake players have four assists this season (Madelyn Smith, Layla Kelbel, Angela Gutierrez) -- no other league team has more than one player with four or more assists.
- Indiana State shut out Valpo, 3-0, on Sunday. Delaney Timmons earned her fifth shutout of the season with four saves. Quinn Urquhart tallied two assists, doubling her season total.
- Sunday’s result was Valpo’s first loss in Terre Haute to the Sycamores since 2019. The Beacons had won their last three visits to Memorial Stadium. Kate Sheridan made five saves in 61 minutes in goal before Saki Tsuchiya entered for the final 29 minutes.
- Belmont leads the MVC in saves per game (5.08). Sydney Jones leads the MVC with 4.73 saves per game.
- The Salukis lead the MVC in league-only stats with 76 shots (15.20 per match). Last season the Salukis ranked eighth (9.90 per match).
- UNI keeper Thordis Melsted had a UNI career-high four saves in the 1-0 loss to Illinois State.

Higgins propelled the Flames to their first MVC victory on Saturday with the lone goal in the match against preseason favorite Drake. In a 2024 MVC semifinal rematch, Higgins scored off a rocket of a shot outside the 18-yard box in the 72nd minute to give the Flames the lead and marked her first goal of the season. Higgins tied for the lead in shots on the team with two while placing her only shot on frame in the back of the net.

Played all 90 minutes on the back line and assisted on Brooklyn Robinson’s game-winning goal in the 82nd minute of Evansville’s critical 2-1 win over Belmont on Saturday. Helped the UE defense limit the Bruins to six shots and only one shot on goal. Has played all 90 minutes eight times this season, including four times in MVC play.
GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

Revolorio earned her fourth shutout of the 2025 season on Friday against Southern Illinois, her second consecutive match with a shutout. Revolorio made eight saves in goal, facing 16 shots throughout the match.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

Logged 90 minutes for the 11th consecutive game in a 1-0 road win at UNI. Illinois State posted the ninth shutout of the season, which is the most in a season for Illinois State since 2019. The Redbirds now sit tied for sixth in the country and first in the MVC for the most shutouts this season.
