A trio of Missouri Valley Conference baseball student-athletes have been mentioned on the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Stopper of the Year Midseason Watch List, the organization announced Wednesday. 

Reece Lawler (UIC), Simon Gregersen (Indiana State) and Anthony Pron (SIU) represent The Valley on the 59-member list. The MVC was one of 12 conferences with multiple selections and one of 20 represented overall. The NCBWA will announce the finalists on Wednesday, June 5, with the winner being named on Friday, June 14, at the 2024 College World Series.
