PLAYER OF THE WEEK: HALLI POOCK, MURRAY STATE

Murray State’s Halli Poock led the Racers to two victories on the week, including a 25-point road win at Saint Louis and a 116-80 victory at home over Austin Peay for the Racers most points ever against a Divison I opponent. Poock averaged 21.5 points across the two games, including a season-best 30-point performance over Austin Peay as she also matched a career-high with eight assists with no turnovers in the matchup. Her 30-point performance marked the second of her career while hitting season-high numbers in field goals made (10), 3-point field goals made (6) and steals (3). For the week, Poock scored 43 points to go with 10 assists and four steals, shooting 58% from the floor and 56% behind the 3-point arc. The Waterloo, Iowa, native is averaging 17.6 points and 4.8 assists on the year.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK: SOLEIL BARNES, BRADLEY

In Bradley’s lone game of the week, Soleil Barnes delivered an all-around stellar performance, scoring 19 points in 32 minutes of play. She added six rebounds, seven assists, and one steal while shooting a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line. Barnes currently ranks in the top 10 in the MVC in free-throw percentage, three-point field goals per game and assists. Her 19-point performance marked the sixth time in seven outings she has finished in double figures this season.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: CAMRYN RUNNER, EVANSVILLE
5-8 | Fr. | Guard | Cicero, Ind.

For the third time this season, Evansville’s Camryn Runner is the MVC Freshman of the Week. The rookie turned in her second-straight 20-plus point performance, and fourth of the year, with a 21-point outing in a win over SIUE. She went 16-for-22 at the charity stripe and moved into third in the nation in made free throws this season (77). Along with another big offensive performance, Runner led the Aces on the boards with seven rebounds. The point guard went without a turnover in 36 minutes of action against the Cougars while dishing out a season-high five assists.
