ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Valley Conference announced its 2024 Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete Teams, as voted on by the league's sports information directors. 

The 2024 MVC Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year is Western Michigan's Noah James. The sophomore midfielder carries a 4.00 cumulative grade-point average in the classroom as a pre-mechanical engineering major.

The criteria for the honor parallels the College Sports Communicator (CSC) standards for Academic All-America voting. Nominees must be starters or important reserves with at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA (on a 4.00 scale). Student-athletes must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at their institution (true freshmen and redshirt freshmen not eligible).
