Indiana State transfer Kiley Bess averaged 11.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.0 steals per game as the Sycamores split a pair of games down in Puerto Rico, earning her first Newcomer of the Week honor.
 
Evansville freshman forward Maggie Hartwig scored 18 points with 15 rebounds in a win over Chicago State, earning her first Freshman of the Week honor.
