Bracket Set for 2023 MVC Men’s Soccer Championship

ST. LOUIS – Western Michigan earned the top seed in the 2023 Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer Championship, capping off the MVC season at 7-0-1 (22 points) to claim the outright MVC regular-season crown for the first time in its first year as a league member.

Missouri State, which finished its conference slate with a 6-1-1 record (19 points), will be the No. 2 seed and earn a bye into next Wednesday’s semifinals in Kalamazoo. UIC earns the No. 3 seed (4-2-2 MVC, 14 points) and Bowling Green (4-4-0 MVC, 12 points) claims the No. 4 seed as both teams will host a quarterfinal on Sunday. Northern Illinois (3-4-1, 10 points) will be the No. 5 seed, while Belmont (3-4-1 MVC, 10 points) will be the No. 6 seed.  The Huskies held the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Bruins due to a 1-0 win back on October 22.

The Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer Championship will kick off with quarterfinal round matches on Sunday, Nov. 5 on the campuses of each of the high seeds.

All five matches of the 2023 MVC Men's Soccer Championship, including two quarterfinals on Sunday, November 5, two semifinals on Wednesday, November 8 and the championship match on Saturday, November 11, will be available for fans to follow via live streaming on ESPN+.
