The day featured a community service project along with the usual Media Day festivities, but this year also included a luncheon to celebrate 50 years of Title IX.
All 12 league coaches spoke during three separate panels during the luncheon, which was hosted by Debbie Antonelli of CBS and ESPN. Each coach was asked about advancements in Title IX, where they see it in the next decade, and how the legislation has impacted their life.
Antonelli was also on hand to create content with all the student-athletes in attendance as well as all 12 head coaches that will be utilized on the league's TV network as well as social media accounts throughout the season.
The athletes also experienced a photo session as well as capturing content that will be used on the video boards during the 2023 tournament in the Quad Cities.
