2022 MVC Softball Championship Bracket

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The field for the 2022 Missouri Valley Conference Softball Championship is set for next week's event in Springfield, Mo. hosted by Missouri State.

Northern Iowa won the Regular-Season Championship and the No. 1 Seed for the MVC Championship having gone 22-2 against Valley opponents.  This is the 4th-time in school history that the Panthers earned the No. 1 Seed.  UNI will not play until the semifinals at 11:00 a.m. (CT) on Friday, May 13.  Missouri State took the tournament's No. 2 Seed and will have to wait to see who their opponent is, as their first game will be the second semifinal on Friday, May 13 at 1:30 p.m. (CT).

No. 8 Loyola faces No. 9 Evansville in the first game of the Championship on Wednesday, May 11 at 11:00 a.m. (CT) followed by No. 7 Indiana State versus No. 10 Valparaiso that same day at 1:30 p.m. (CT).  

No. 5 Bradley will play the winner of #8 Loyola/#9 Evansville on Thursday, May 12 at 11:00 a.m. (CT) while Illinois State (No. 6) will get the winner of #7 Indiana State/#10 Valparaiso at 1:30 p.m. (CT).  Teams that win in the morning on Thursday, May 12 will have to play again facing No. 4 Drake (4:00 p.m. CT game time) or No. 3 Southern Illinois (6:30 p.m. CT).
