EVANSVILLE, IN - For the first time since 2017, No. 4 seed Evansville advanced to the MVC Tournament semifinals with a 4-2 win over No.5 seed Drake.   The four goal effort was the first by an Aces squad since a 4-0 win over Tulsa in the 1995 MVC Tournament semifinals.

Evansville answered and knotted the score at 1-1 in the 41st minute as Edward Mendy netted his first goal of the season thanks to an assist from Jose Vivas.

The Aces came out firing in the second half, scoring three goals in the first 25 minutes of the second half.  A Drake own goal made it 2-1 UE and then Nkosi Graham followed with a pair of goals to finish the scoring for the Aces.

Drake netted the game's final goal as Juan Louis scored his second goal of the game.
