ST. LOUIS, MO – Student-Athletes from the Missouri Valley Conference’s top three seeds in women’s soccer (Loyola, Illinois State, Missouri State) have received the league’s top Specialty Awards for the 2019 season. Regular-season champ Loyola has claimed the majority of the league’s top individual honors, with freshman forward Megan Nemec claiming the league’s Freshman of the Year Honors, along with being placed on the All-MVC Second Team. Second-seeded Illinois State has also earned great recognition, with senior midfielder Kate Del Fava taking home Player of the Year Honors. Kaitlin Maxwell of Missouri State is this year’s Goalkeeper of the Year, while Loyola’s Madison Laudeman is the league’s Defensive Player of the Year.
