The Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic will celebrate its tenth year in 2018. 

Indiana State will appear in an ESPN Events early-season tournament for the third straight year; participated in 2016 AdvoCare Invitational and 2017 Charleston Classic.

The Sycamores will play Saturday, December 22 when they open the tournament against Colorado. The game will tip-off at 3 pm (ET) and will be televised live on ESPNU. Indiana State will face off against either UNLV or host Hawaii on Sunday, December 23 at either 4:30 pm (ET) or 7 pm (ET). The field also includes Rhode Island, Charlotte, Bucknell and TCU. ISU will travel to TCU on December 16 as a non bracketed game as part of this tournament. The tournament will wrap up on Christmas Day with all games appearing on the ESPN Family of Networks.
