MVC Announces Wildcard Telecast Selections for Men's Basketball

The Missouri Valley Conference has announced "wildcard" telecast selections for men's basketball games of Saturday, Jan. 10.  ESPN has selected the UNI at Bradley men’s basketball game on Saturday, Jan. 10, for distribution on ESPNU. The game will tip at 5 p.m. CT.  Clay Matvick (PBP) and Kevin Lehman (Analyst) will serve as the announcers.

Bradley has three players who average in double figures -- Jaquan Johnson (18.8), Alex Huibregtse (12.1), and Demarion Burch (10.3). Johnson's 48 steals this year lead the NCAA (he ranks second nationally with 3.43 steals per game). The Braves are sixth in the NCAA in turnover margin (+6.1), which leads the MVC. After starting the season 1-3, Bradley has won nine of its last 10 games to improve to 10-4.

UNI is one of four league teams who rank in the Top 75 of the NET, and the Panthers are also unbeaten in MVC play (2-0).  The Panthers are one of the nation's best defensive teams, as they lead the MVC and are second nationally in scoring defense (57.3). UNI also leads the MVC and is sixth nationally in field goal percentage defense (36.3) and tops the Conference and is third in the NCAA in 3-point field goal percentage defense (24.9).

Both Bradley (6th, 6.1) and UNI (29th, 4.2) are among the national leaders in turnover margin.  The Panthers lead the league in fewest turnovers (9.4 per game), while the Braves lead the MVC by forcing 16.36 per game -- that ranks in the Top 20 in the NCAA.

Network and game times were previously listed as TBA on the MVC schedule. Times and networks for the Jan. 10 "Wildcard" Saturday dates are below:

Saturday, Jan. 10
