Single Player of the Week
Olivia Czerwonka, So., Kenosha, Wis. (Valparaiso)
Olivia Czerwonka notched her team-leading seventh singles victory of the season on Saturday, topping Butler fifth-year senior Lauryn Padgett 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. The straight-set win marked one of the highlights of Valpo's 5-2 setback to Big East opponent Butler. Czerwonka already owns 20 career singles wins as only a sophomore.

Doubles Team of the Week
Sandra Maletin, Jr., Belgrade, Serbia (Bradley)
Victoria Sánchez-Bronzetti, Fr., Barcelona, Spain (Bradley)
The No. 1 Doubles tandem of Sandra Maletin/Victoria-Sánchez-Bronzetti picked up a 6-4 win against Illinois States’ No. 1 duo of Tara Damnjanovic/Tijana Zlatanovic, the only pair to win Missouri Valley Conference Doubles Team of the Week more than once this season. Both of their recognitions came from the No. 1 spot. The win moved Maletin/Sánchez-Bronzetti to 3-1 together, after they were first paired up on Feb. 26, 2021 against SIUE. It proved crucial in securing the doubles point for Bradley, marking the second time in the last three meetings the Braves have taken the doubles point from Illinois State.

*MVC Tennis Athletes of the Week are selected each week during the season. Nominees are provided by each school’s sports information contact and voted on by a panel appointed by the league office.
