Isaiah Trousil, Jr., Northern Iowa (West Burlington, Iowa)
Isaiah Trousil finished second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.35, his fastest indoor time ever and the fastest in the league. He is now third on the UNI All-time indoor list. He was also a member of the 4x400-meter relay that finished second with a time of 3:13.98, the fastest in the MVC to date.

Grace Beattie, Sr., Illinois State (Woodstock, Illinois)
Senior Grace Beattie, who has won every race she’s finished this indoor season, won the mile for the second time this year at the 2020 adidas Classic hosted by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her time of 4:52.32 is a five second improvement from her previous season-best and remains the best time in the Valley. Beattie has led the conference in the mile since the first meet of the season and currently the next closest student-athlete is five seconds behind her time. As one of four Redbird women to win their events this weekend, Beattie helped Illinois State to a second-place team finish, tying with South Dakota with 144 points.

Darius King, Sr., Northern Iowa (Moline, Illinois)
Darius King finished in first place in the shot put with a throw of 18.37m, leading a group of five Panthers that swept the top five spots at the Black and Gold Premier Invite in Iowa City. He also finished third in the weight throw with a toss of 18.32.

Female Field
Alexis Roberson, Sr., Southern Illinois (Jefferson City, Missouri)
Alexis Roberson had a strong showing at the Indiana Relays this past weekend. Roberson set a lifetime-best mark of 21.60 meters (70’-10.50”) placing sixth in the weight throw. This mark moves her up to sixth in program history, shattering her previous mark of 69’-07.50”. This mark ranks her 10th in the NCAA and first overall in the MVC.
