JaVaughn Moore, So., Indiana State (Marietta, Georgia)
JaVaughn Moore had a strong weekend in the sprinting events for Indiana State. Competing at the Meyo Invitational, Moore started his weekend by qualifying for the 60-meter dash semi-finals, running the fourth-fastest preliminary time of 6.80. He then ran the sixth-fastest 200-meter dash time in Indiana State history of 21.57, good enough for fourth-place. On Saturday, Moore qualified for the 60-meter dash finals with a semi-final time of 6.87. The sophomore went on to finish fifth in finals, clocking a time of 6.83. His time of 6.78 from the Indiana State Early Bird is still first in the Valley, while his new 200-meter dash time is fourth in the MVC.

Female Track
Anna Lowry, Jr., Evansville (Taylorville, Illinois)
Anna Lowry has smashed four school records this season, including two this weekend at the Marshall Invitational. Lowry earned second place in 5,000-meter run, besting her own fastest 5K in the Missouri Valley at a 17:26.92 record breaking clip, Friday night. The junior followed that up with a program record second place finishing 5:02.10 mile run, besting her own record by eight seconds and currently sits as the 11th fastest mile in the MVC.

Eddie Winner, So., Illinois State (Telaviv, Israel)
Finishing second overall in the pole vault at the Meyo Invite, Eddie Winner cleared his best mark as a Redbird at 5.15 meters (16-10.75 ft.). Winner who has been moving up the ISU indoor top-10 list since his very first meet now ranks No. 4 all-time in Illinois State track & field history. His clearance of 5.15 meters keeps him at the No. 1 spot in the Valley and tied for No. 51 in the nation, leading the next closest MVC competitor (his teammate) by six inches. Winner is one of only two MVC student-athletes to have cleared at least 5.00 meters this season.

Maja Gebauer, Fr., Drake (Budapest, Hungary)
Broke her own school record in her third collegiate competition with a clearance of 13-0.75 (3.98m) at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational … she tied the leaders in the event but finished in third due to misses … her jump broke her previous record – set in her first meet – by more than seven inches … she leads the Valley by nearly four inched in the event and she bested competitors from the likes of Nebraska, Illinois and Kansas in the competition.
