Male Track
Kevin White, R-Jr., Loyola (Wooster, Ohio)
Loyola redshirt junior Kevin White turned in The Valley’s top 800m run time this past Saturday at the Alex Wilson Invitational in South Bend, Ind. Making his 2019 debut in the event, the Wooster, Ohio native moved posted the third fastest time in program history, checking in at 1:48.53 to finish fourth overall. White, who took home the league’s indoor 800m run crown in 2017 before redshirting the following season, also ranks highly on the NCAA national leaderboard in the event, sitting 16th overall.

Logan Calvin, So., Illinois State (Bloomington, Ind.)
At Friday’s Badger Red & White Classic, hosted by Wisconsin, Calvin notched a pair of lifetime personal-bests in the shot put and weight throw. Calvin made his biggest impact in the shot put, finishing third overall with the second-farthest heave (18.50m/60-08.50) in Redbird track & field history. Calvin, who has recorded a personal-best in the event four times this season, currently ranks fourth in the Valley and 39th in all of Division I. As if this wasn’t enough, Calvin also captured a personal-best in the weight throw, placing sixth with a distance of 17.86m (58-07.25), a mark which sits fifth in the MVC.

Brooke Moore, Sr., Indiana State (Elkhart, Ind.)
Brooke Moore, the senior distance star for Indiana State, raced in the 800-meter run on Saturday at the Alex Wilson Invitational and crossed the finish line with the sixth-best time in ISU history of 2:07.37 en route to a fourth-place finish. Not only does her time move her up the record book, it also pushes her to the best time in the Missouri Valley Conference and 38th in the nation. After her performance on Saturday, Moore now owns the top times in the Valley in the 800-meter run, mile-run and 3000-meter run.

Female Field
Alexis Roberson, Jr., Southern Illinois (Jefferson City, Mo.)
Alexis Roberson threw 66’-8.5” (20.33m) to win the weight throw at the EIU Friday Night Special. It marked her fourth win of the season and she ranks 17th nationally in the event.
