This week's Missouri Valley Conference swimmers of the week are Asmalia Redzuan of Little Rock and Paige Wright of Valparaiso.

Swimmers of the Week
Asmalia Redzuan, Fr., Selangor, Malaysia
Redzuan posted two personal best times on her way to finishing second in both the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly this past weekend at a dual meet against D1 Incarnate Word. Her time of 1:56.59 in the 200 free was nearly a second faster than her previous best, while her first-time swim in the 100 fly, a 57.65, is already the best on the team. The freshman also anchored both of Little Rock's relays, recording the fastest 100 free split in the pool (53.86) at the end of the 400 medley relay and going 53.45 as the fourth leg of the 400 freestyle relay.

Paige Wright led all Valpo swimmers in their first home meet taking first in three events during their meet versus Evansville. Wright's first win of the day came in the 200 medley relay. Wright also took first in the 200 free with a time (1:56.43) and the 500 free (5:13.45).
